Haunted

I am the type of person to cover my eyes at scary movies. I jump at loud noises. I feel faint at the sight of blood. Let's just say I am probablly not the best candidate for the seasonal haunted house outing.

However, I love the idea of gathering a bunch of friends and creeping around in the dark to the sight of a black light and spider webs. It's the "jumping out," the "Freddy Kreuger-like characters" and the possible threat of nightmares for months that steer me away from participating in the Halloween holiday fun.

For those of you who are able to see past the gore and guts, take a night this week to check out the area haunted houses...
