Pecha Kucha (5/08)

Friday, May 8th, 2009

Pecha Kucha - Japanese for the sound of conversation - was conceived as an opportunity for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. Each presenter is allowed 20 images, each shown for 20 seconds each – giving 6 minutes 40 seconds of fame before the next presenter is up. This keeps presentations concise, the interest level up, and gives more people the chance to show. Without any pushing, Pecha Kucha Night has spread virally to over 100 cities across the world.

8:20pm. Free, no tickets necessary. This event will take place either just outside MOCA on the grass below their windows or inside the museum. For more information visit www.mocacleveland.org
