nip/tuck's fifth season continues where season four left off: following the divorce from Julia, Sean sold his half of McNamara/Troy and departed Miami for Los Angeles. Christian, who ended his engagement to Michelle (Sanaa Lathan), soon followed - thus relocating McNamara/Troy to the West Coast.
