I know I am not the only Clevelander to be a francophile. Love french music, cook french food, drink french wine, travel abroad to breathe the french air and stroll through the daily french blogs all while living and LOVING our home Cleveland.

It commemorates the 1790 Fête de la Fédération, the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille fortress was seen as a symbol of the uprising of the modern nation, and of the reconciliation of all the French inside the constitutional monarchy which preceded the First Republic, during the French Revolution.
